Even with the best boots and socks, hots pots and blisters on toes can happen on long hikes with heavy packs. These toe caps are a GAME CHANGER for me. They go on easy, feel very comfie, and absolutely PREVENT irritation to toes. On a recent big backpacking trip, a toenail snag caught on my sock, yanking the toenail with each painful step. I almost lost the nail, and for months couldn't figure out how to protect it (comfortably) while hiking. A friend told me about these toe caps, and I ordered immediately (great price!!) They are Heaven Sent. I have now been on two more big backpacking trips with absolutely NO damage to nails or skin on toes. Not one hot spot. Not one blister. I tell all my hiking buddies about these "toe condoms" and have personally increased sales of this product for Chiroplax. Happy to do it! (They are easy to clean at home in mild soap and warm water. DRY THOROUGHLY. On the trail, probably not possible to keep as clean, and they may get a little smelly.)I'm using these for two toes that constantly rub together & create calluses/corns on sides of toes - very painful. Over the past few years I've tried many products, bandaids, "corn" cushions, wrapping in cotton. None of these products stays on well, and some are pretty expensive for what they are and considering how quickly they need replacing. Now, no more pain from rubbing, and gradually the corns are disappearing.I really like the way these are packaged, each pair in a separate little ziploc bag, and a cloth bag to store them all. I'd highly recommend these for anyone who has issues with toes rubbing together. However, they aren't for 24-7 use, as I think the toes need to breathe, which they won't too much with these. I remove and wash them every evening before retiring and put a tiny bid of baking soda or talc on them, so they're fresh & ready to use another day, but leave them entirely off at night. Alternating 2 sets of 2, so there are 3 sets left to use when these eventually wear out.I have an in-grown toe nail, great toe that can be very painful. I wasn't sure about these but I am glad I tried them. A few times when the toe was being very painful I had to take the cap off as it felt too tight. That said, overall the large sized gel toe cap works very well and has saved me more than once in terms of being able to continue the day I had planned by being able to guard my toe with one of these gel caps. My only complaint is the company ought to provide some written material about the product in the packaging. I suspect they think it is obvious, but as a first time user I would have felt better having some directions, how many times can I use one cap, etc. Otherwise, this is a good product that does what it claims to do.Stretchable. I wear a size 7 shoe, so the smaller size included works for me. It adds length to the toe: I am missing a disc from my big toe making it too short for closed toe shoes. My second flange bumps up against the end of my shoe. This works. ThanksGreat product!! I first bought the large for my fourth toe that had a bruise on it. It was being aggravated by the small toe bone and my doc suggested something like this product. Unfortunately the large was too big (more for the big toe). Fortunately though, the customer service of this company is fantastic! I sent an email describing my mistake, and within minutes I received a personalized email saying I would be sent the small size, and a return form to send the other package back. The new size came in the mail and now after a few days wearing the product, my toe feels 100% better.I live fulltime in my Class A RV where there’s no tub, only a shower, and because of this, my big toes and feet have become cracked. I’m now using different methods of keeping them smooth where these gel caps have become the cream of the crop when it comes to keeping them beautiful every day after wearing them at night. I so love their smooth skin like texture and bag to keep them in after washing and drying them. Going to buy smaller ones today for my other toes. Thanks!Mainly for toenails I have lost. I have neurophy in hands and feet that devolped after chemo. These gels are just great as I can't feel friction and the big toe gel is helping while I grow another nail. I didn't think the gels were over size.These toe covers fit my toes and stretch enough to go on easily over my toes. I do not have to pull a knit cover off that covers a silicone cover to get enough stretch so I can get it on. I will order these covers again.I hike or walk for two hours each day. The second toe of each foot is .5 cm longer than the rest of my toes; hence, the tops of these toes have become irritated and sore. My chiropodist recommended that I use toe protectors. I used the fabric type for a few months but the sizes were never accurate —too wide.I think I will always buy the silicone toe protectors as they work well and I forget that I am wearing them. I wear them with both thick and fine woollen socks and they are extremely comfortable. So glad I found your product on Amazon. I will shop with you again. ThanksI use these on my toes for running. They are very comfortable and squishy. My blister problems are already clearing up. I hope they prove to be durable. I think they will be. I have an average adult male foot, and the large size fits my big toe perfectly, while the small size is great for the second and third toes. I didn't need to cut them to fit or anything like that.I've ONE toe that needs support, wish I could buy just 2 or 3 of these gel sleeves for my 2nd toe, not a pack.Otherwise, I love them, The tip of another toe was sore from rubbing inside the shoe so I now have caps on two toes and sometimes on my middle finger that wants to cramp up the odd time - big help here.I'm 89 and need all of this comfort so, thank you very much for the aid..I am training for a race and realized that I was going to lose one of my toenail. I had a blood blister underneath the nail which was painful. I didn’t want to stop my training and miss the race so I did some research. I found and tried this product on my impacted nail and it work perfectly to protect it from rubbing and I literally feel nothing.I accidently broke my toe and the eventual outcome was a toe that is not straight and has caused the larger toe to become misaligned - a position that is not comfortable in heels. I also notice that I may be developing a touch of arthritis. When I use these caps my foot realigns slightly which makes it easier to walk/stand without any irritating stinging pain
