So first off, price. Depending on if you buy 2 or 5 at a time you're paying under 4 bucks a piece but oddly almost 50 cents more each when purchasing 5 at a time. I think the seller has it reversed but nonetheless as it currently stands, it is cheaper to by more of the 2 packs.Compared to other brands it's a great price either way. I've seen many of these going for 10 to 20 bucks a pop. I had a ResMed geck prior that costs around 15 and it didn't even have a sticky side. These do though. In the pictures the pad is always stuck to the persons6face which I personally wouldn't suggest due to potential breakouts and wearing down the "glue" faster. I wear a ResMed airfit f20 full mask. I spread it apart at the nose like it would be once on my face with the pad folded in half like a taco, sticky side out. I stick the pad into where the bridge of my nose will be and push it in, then push the "wings" down along the sides of the mask. Placing it on exactly how the pad is shaped isn't preferable but provided how many mask shapes there are that's just how it is going to be. I bend it downwards a little more on each side so it's not protruding and sticking out over my eyes which would then make it be brushing my eyelashes which is enough to ruin sleep.Every morning I wake up, I've a paper towel on a stand folded in half. I take the pad off the maske and give it a gentle wash with some mostly cold water and tiny bit of hand soap. Rubbing ever so gently on both sides then rinsing. Then it gets played non sticky side down on the paper towel to dry. Once it is dried I pull out the plastic sheet, place it on the pad and slide the pad back into the plastic bag/envelope.On my second one bow. The first lasted 2 weeks. A bit past the second week the glue had started to come off around the edges. Around the end of the second week there was a good bit gone. Honestly I probably could have still used it another week or two but wanting to be sure it sealed as good as possible and them being cheap enough I just swapped them out. Even once the glue is gone you could keep using them if you wanted to just set them in place like other pads. They're not the thickest, they're not the thinnest. My gecko was thick and big enough that I never had a red nose but it was a pain to keep in place. These pads, so long as I get them in the proper position before putting on my mask still usually prevent any raised red hickey looking spots on my nose and the morning and prevent waking with a sore nose most days. The times it is sore I attribute to how I had I bnb placed on the mask.Overall, it's pretty good. I'm not walking around looking like someone punched me in the nose all day. A little longer review than I normally do but given how big of a part of our lives these masks become, figured what the heck. For the money I haven't found anything better. Just stocked up on a few months more.UPDATE: There's been a couple common complaints. Masks leaking and the glue coming up. Well, the glue is going to at some point.I got tired of conforming the pad to my mask each night so after switching to the second pad I decided to start sticking it to my face. Because of how it would protrude from the sides of the mask, it would create small gaps for constant leakage each night. After only 3 nights of that the glue was already peeling up, a lot. The glue sticks to your clean skin quite well. It also sticks to silicone CPAP cushions well but not as strong. One morning after gently peeling it from my face as directed it started coming up big time. Then worse each day after. I had to throw it away in 4 or 5 days vs the 2 weeks of the last one because too much glue was gone. When stuck to the mask however it stays long enough to get my mask on comfortably at night but in the morning after taking it off, by the time I'm done brushing my teeth the sides of the pad have lifted themselves from the mask due to the pad obviously being pulled back to it's original shape. Even when I mess up and have to manually lift and reseat the pad on the cushion at nights the pad is not as stuck as it is on my skin.So those of you with silicone cushions on your mask. If you're having leaking issues and/or finding the glue coming off too quickly I suggest what I originally mentioned. I spread apart the center of the cushion with the pad folded in half and stick it in there, then take the sides and bend them downwards at an angle to stay inside the mask but still protect my nose. Then when the mask is on and it's blown up from the machine pressure, there's no pad protruding from the sides.Good luck. I know many hate CPAP/BiPAP therapy but hopefully this will help someone have a little more comfortable night.Mind you this is for silicone. Other mask materials may not be as compatible! Why they dont just make these 100 dollar plus cushions more comfortable is another story...
